WOODBOROUGH HALL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Kelly and Mattie tied the knot in a beautiful, light-filled ceremony in the Orangery at Woodborough Hall – a Grade II listed venue tucked away in the heart of Nottinghamshire.
My day started with Kelly and her girls getting ready in the bridal suite. The morning was relaxed and full of laughs, with Kelly, her bridesmaid, flower girl, and mum all having their hair and makeup done in the cosy upstairs room.
Once Kelly was in her dress, it was time for a first look with her dad – always one of those moments where the emotions catch up with everyone.
The ceremony was heartfelt and personal, with Kelly and Mattie sharing their vows surrounded by friends and family. The Orangery is such a great spot for a ceremony – full of natural light and perfect for capturing the emotion of the moment.
After the official “I do’s” (and a celebratory air punch from Mattie), the new Mr & Mrs walked back down the aisle to a chorus of cheers before being showered in confetti outside.
We did a few relaxed family formals before guests made their way to the drinks reception, followed by the all-important wedding breakfast and speeches – all taking place back in the Orangery. Kelly and Mattie decided to kick off the speeches before dinner. Kelly’s dad went first, followed by Mattie, and then the best man wrapped things up with some brilliant stories.
As the evening rolled in, we nipped outside for some couple portraits in the grounds of Woodborough Hall before heading back in for the cake cut and the first dance (or as I like to call it, the first shuffle!).
Kelly and Mattie had booked the brilliant band The Burgundys – who also happen to be on my recommended suppliers list (which you can find HERE). These guys know exactly how to get a party going, and they certainly delivered.
This was my first time back at Woodborough Hall since its new ownership, and I have to say – I was seriously impressed with the renovations. They’ve done a fantastic job bringing it back to its former glory.
